Agnes W Linn

You know that feeling you get when you can’t find your loved ones? We’re talking about dread and panic. They said they’d be home by 6pm and it’s now closer to 10:30. Where are they? Who are they with? What are they doing? Are they in danger? Being able to trace SIM card could help calm your nerves.

By knowing how to track SIM card, you’ll be able to find out what’s really going on — and where. Just fire up your SIM card tracker app and you’ll be able to see their current location (and their previous locations depending on the app you choose).

There are loads of options, but some are better than others. Today, we’re going to walk you through the 5 best SIM locator apps.

Table Of Contents

#1: mSpy

When it comes to being able to track SIM card with ease, you can’t top mSpy. The monitoring app includes advanced technology that lets you find their current and previous locations without them knowing that you’re tracking them.

While it doesn’t let you track a phone just by knowing its number, you can track any iPhone or Android that has a SIM card.

It’s easy to get going. First, purchase an mSpy plan. Then install mSpy on their device. It takes a few minutes, but mSpy provides detailed instructions for every make and model of phone. Once mSpy is installed on their phone, you’ll have access to their locations on demand. Just head to your mSpy Control Panel and you’ll see everything.

The powerful SIM card tracking app doesn’t just reveal their current and previous locations. It also alerts you when they come and go from a specific zone. This comes in handy if you want to find out when they left school or if they’re hanging out somewhere they shouldn’t be — like at a bar or a friend’s house.

Your mSpy Control Panel also shows you the mobile company tied to the SIM card along with their phone’s IMEI number. You’ll find all that info on your mSpy Dashboard.

#2: Scannero

If you’re looking for a SIM card tracker app that doesn’t require you to install anything on their phone, take a closer look at Scannero. The SIM locator works on any phone, including Android, iOS, and even old flip phones. If they can receive a text message, you can find out where they are.

Just enter the phone number of the person you want to locate along with a custom or pre-set text message. Then hit send and let the SIM tracker get to work.

Scannero will fire off your message along with a link. When they tap the link, Scannero will reveal their location to you. The SIM locator really is that easy to use.

#3: Glympse

Prefer a simple way to track phone by SIM card? Then take a look at Glympse. The app lets anyone share their location with others in a snap. Unlike other SIM tracker apps, this one is focused exclusively on sharing current locations.

However, it’s important to know that the app must be installed on both devices (that means on your device and on the device of the person who you want to track). They’ll see an app on their phone, so they’ll know you’re trying to trace SIM card.

What’s more, because the SIM locator app operates on an opt-in philosophy, they have complete control over who they’re share their location with and when they share it. So if you’re looking for an inconspicuous app, Glympse might not be the right one for you.

#4: The Find My App

Do they have an iPhone? Then you’ve got a simple way to track phone my SIM card built right in. It’s called Find My and it lets you trace SIM card locations with ease.

Just open the Find My app on your iPhone and tap ‘People’ at the bottom. You’ll see a list of people you can track. If they’re not on your list, you’ll need to add them. You can do that from their iPhone.

Just follow the steps we just mentioned and then hit the plus (+) symbol. Then, hit ‘Share My Location’ and enter your phone number. You’ll then see their location in the Find My app on your phone.

It’s important to remember that with this option, you’ll need to grab their phone to share their location. And at any given time, they can see who they’re sharing their location with.

#5: Life360

Life360 bills itself as the #1 family safety and location sharing app. We don’t really know if it’s #1 or what category they used to rate it, but in our testing, it works quite well. You can create your own family “Circle” and then add people to it as you please.

You can then see their current location on a map, along with the location history (the number of days you can review varies based on which plan you choose). There’s also something “Place Alerts” to tell you when they’ve arrived or left a location.

As far as SIM locator tools go, Life360 works quite well. But you should know that the app remains visible on their phone, so if you’re looking for an app that lets you find out where they are without alerting them that you’re using a SIM card tracking tool, this isn’t for you.

The mSpy Sim Tracker Is Only the Beginning
